Prarie drifter, that sounds awesome. I hit your side of the state a few times a year. Mulies, turkeys,  and prarie dogs mostly.

Four hours away Cody but I know there are several trad shooters on your side of the state. Dan Toelke is just up at Ronan and is a great coach... Have you checked out the Traditional Bowhunters of MT.

I am from Missoula in the summer at least(college sucks sometimes).     I hate to say that I am far less than what you would call experienced when it comes to shooting. I also have no BW takedown. That said, there are several other trad gangers in or near Missoula, it sounds like a party in the making...

Well... I probably fit part of the description, but I live over in the Gallatin Valley.  I don't get over the hill much.  However if you're coming this way look me up.  I can show what I know.  Also I have a widow Pl take down long bow that is a sweet elk killin machine.  If by BW take down you mean PCH or other 3 pieces, I can't help.
 Two thoughts.
1)  Look up Dan Toelke in Ronan.  I just had him build me a three piece Lynx.  I plan on hunting this fall with it exclusively.  Its that GOOD
2)  If you're dead set on a widow, they have an awesome test drive program.  You give them a credit card number and you only pay the shipping when its returned.

Fin,
I live in Missoula. No Black Widow though.
I do have a Robertson T/D recurve, A Dryad Orion T/D with static recurve limbs, a couple of Firefly 3 pc T/D longbows, and my newest member, a Toelke Lynx T/D recurve. You would be welcome to try any of these.
I am a member of the 5 Valleys Archery Range if you want to meet out there sometime.

MTArrowLauncher, where exactly do you live in Montana.  I live in Heron which is just off Hwy 200 about 5 miles from the Idaho boarder.  I shoot a Black Widow PMA X Bocote which is a take down.  I will be at the Fawn Shoot in Libby next weekend.
