I like both a mesh type mask cinched tightly, and the spandex material.  In my climate paint or burnt cork would run all over the place till I looked like Tammy Faye Bakker.  The mesh mask helps keep the skeeters off too.

I use a mesh mask in early season to help keep the bugs off and I use a spandex type in the late season for warmth.  I sometimes leave the mask and use paint instead.  It all depends on where I am hunting and the type of vegetation around.

I know my face will be sweating around the 2nd weekend of September when bow season opens here in Ga.

Thanks for all the replies fellas!
