How long for paradox recovery?
« on: April 22, 2011, 05:50:00 PM »
Is there a general rule of thumb on how long it takes an arrow to recover?  Or how long is "acceptable"?

I know there are far, FAR too many variable to come up with a hard-set distance, but I was shooting some bareshafts today @ 10 yards and it got my mind running.

Don't know myself of a general rule, but I strive for my tuned bareshaft arrows to be on the mark at 5 yards beyond my effective hunting range as well as be on the mark at 3 yards. Hope I never have to shoot a critter at 3 yards or closer.
