I just received my new Zephyr Scirocco glue-on broadheads from Horne's Archery. I am very impressed with the construction and blade sharpness. I have a couple of questions though. Since the Horne's are out of town, I thought I would look for advice here. When I try and mount them with the bleeder blade installed they don't even come close to sliding all the way onto my shaft taper. Without the bleeder blades they slide completely onto my shaft taper. What should I do? Should I just snip the end of the taper off? I hesitate to do this because I feel it will weaken the end of the arrow, with such a short taper. This is my first experence with a glue-on broadhead with bleeders. I usually use a 2-blade Magnus. Any advice would be appreciated.
