Mother Nature's scheduling
« on: April 23, 2011, 09:48:00 AM »
Ok, I need to know who is in charge of scheduling the weather! This has been a terrible spring as far as weather goes! During the week or on work days it is beautiful and I see things like this-

Right in the middle of the road!  Now that the weekend is here....RAIN and SNOW again. On the bright side at least we do not get tornados here. For those that are dealing with that type of weather, prayers sent.

Jason

I could not agree more....during the week, the sun is shining and all I can do is look out the window and wait for the weekend.....then the weekend comes and the weather keeps me and the critters couped up!!!

I feel your pain bro!

Same here, snow, rain, snow, snow, and throw in 50 mph winds on a daily basis. Chilly 10 degrees this morning.

I headed up to northern Wyo last weekend to hunt, the weather was good there, but the turkeys are still in groups from 20-30. Toms are strutting and gobbling, but we couldn't get any to come to our calls and dekes. I guess I wouldn't leave 20-25 hens neither!

Yeah, you would have to make some pretty sweet calls to call them off of that many hens! It has been really windy here also, seems like it gets windier here ever year, or maybe I just get less tolerant?

Well now I have a fire in the wood stove and looks like I will just stay close to it with a cup of coffee today.
