Looking for Wood Suggestions

Alright guys I have been posting quite a bit about my first longbow purchase. I have a few bowyers narrowed down. My question is what would you guys suggest for limbs. I like the look of Black and White Ebony and Bocote. Now looks arent everything but do certain woods perform differently than others? If so what are your favorites...? I'm asking the experts here.. sound off =)

The heavier oily woods seem to allow me to shoot more consistantly. More unsprung bow weight. But, thats just MHO.
God Bless,
Nathan

I am guessing you are talking about veneers. If so then i'm pretty sure they don't have much of an effect on limb performance like the limb core wood (maple, bamboo, action boo, carbon/foam, etc). The veneers are pretty much just for show. :D

My bad. I missed the "limb veneers" part.

Limb veneers are the fun part. If you like ebony and bocote, look at Tiger Myrtle.

Today's bowyers have greatly broadened the spectrum of just beautiful veneers.
Hard enough to pic one you love today w/o longing for another one tomorrow. I am not immune to it and attempt to pic a veneer that I believe will remain attractive to me in years to come.

The elm cores make this bow a sweeeet shooter. The riser is zebrawood as well as the veneers on limbs.
Many beautiful choices out there. You will have some tough decisions.
