Film Dipping/ Camoing??
« on: April 28, 2011, 05:59:00 PM »
Can someone steer me in the direction of a company that film dip, or other method of camoing trad bows? I shot an e-mail to Big Jims but got no reply. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I've never dealt with any company that does it.  When I was looking into it I found that

"Hydrographic Printing" is the fancy name for it and Google will bring up several hits.

I would try Big Jim again, maybe give him a call.  I've  heard nothing bad about any of his services.

BigJim. Probably busy with clean-up with those devastating storms in that area. I think his website for dip is camodip.?

they have them for $99.00 plus shipping.  Just got one and it worked great.  Like anything takes some practice to get good at it.  Rick J

There is a company here in Utah called Black Ice Coatings. They do all types of film dip and teflon coatings for firearms and government defense products. I would trust them with any type of work. I know they do all kinds of camo dips.
