Bow Damage

I recently drew back my bow and heard a click. After searching i found a slight crack.

 

I dont think you can see it in the photo, but i think you can get the idea.  The crack is in between the limb and the black surface which the limb bolts go through. In the photo the crack goes to left edge of my thumb. I shot it a few times, it shoots fine still, and the crack didn't seem to propagate. The part of the limb that cracked doesn't seem to be a working part of the limb.

the bow is a palmer 58# @ 30.5''  (i draw 27'') 62'' AMO
shooting CX heritage 250 @ 500 gr.

I guess my question is, if i don't have it fixed will it cause a failure?
It doesn't seem to be a vital portion of the limb. Even if the black section delaminated, i think i could still shoot the bow, as it appears to only protect the limb from the bolts.


Should i try to wick some sort of adhesive  in there?

Should i just go ahead and send it to BowDoc?
( I've heard Palmer doesn't have the best customer service, and i got the bow used used)

I went turkey hunting in the heavy rain last weekend. Would water weaken the glue?

fill it with loctite superglue and clamp it tight. Its just an overlay popped loose. No big deal at all.

Ok thanks, thats kind of what i figured i would end up doing, just wanted to see what more experienced people would say.

loctite 420 and about 1-2 pounds of pressure from a c clamp should take care of things bd
