Marriah Thermal Questions
« on: May 07, 2011, 11:34:00 PM »
I have a "new to me" Marriah Thermal 55# @ 28" coming soon.

Could someone give me an idea how far the riser is cut to/past center?

I'd like to use Stu's Calculator but I'm not sure what "Bow Type" to choose. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I plan to shoot Gold Tip Traditionals 55/75's but not 100% sure on point weight.

Thanks,
Joe

G'day Joe, sorry, can't help, but just want to wish you all the best with your new bow and say "G'day!" to you. Cheers, Ben

Give Ric a call and ask him. When I had him build mine I asked him to cut it 3/16 past center and he told me he normally cut them 1/8 past center. However that has been quite a few years ago. Congratulations on a super nice bow and a great bowyer to work with.
God bless you , Steve

I'm pretty sure that Ric Anderson moved recently.  I did hear that he had been returning phone calls though.  Maybe someone else can confirm that.  I'm sure he's busy setting up shop, literally.
