Evolution of my wood arrows.... took a year....
« on: May 07, 2011, 11:59:00 PM »
Just finished a bunch of wood arrows using a variety of woods (from left to right 4 each of Birch, Sitka Spruce and Doug Fir, notice the nock has a color code) using what will/may be my standard cap/crest/fletch/sealant/etc.  Until I get a different Idea or my preferences change....

Those are some nice looking arrows. I like how you changed the colors near the nocks to show which type of wood. Its a nice subtle touch.

Verry nice,congrats
An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward. So when life is dragging you back with difficulties, it means that it's going to launch you into something great.

I can barely make it out but it looks like there are black red, and green stripes near the nocks.

4 each.

Anyway, nice looking arrows!!

Nice arrows for sure.

Easy to see in flight.

It will be interesting to see which shaft becomes preferred, and which shaft proves the most durable.
