Ben Pearson Recurve
« on: May 14, 2011, 08:15:00 AM »
I have a Ben Pearson Rogue 7058 recurve that needs a string. I was kinda hoping someone knew what kind of string, lenght, etc. i`d need to get for it. Also, could use any info on this one so I can get her shooting. Brace height, arrow choices and all that jaz. The info on the bow is:
AMO 58" - 45#@28"  This bow is the perfect weigth for me to shoot. I really like a longer bow but a friend gave it to me so who can complain.   :bigsmyl:

54" B50 Dacron should do you. Start at 7 1/2" brace height and work from there.
We are all here because we are not all there.

I have a LH Rogue 55#@28". It uses a standard AMO 58" Dacron string. The actual string length is about 54". Mine shoots a 2217 (30.5") with a 125 gr point very well with a brace height of 7 3/4".

I suspect that your 45# bow would do well with a 1916 at 29-30 inches.

I hope you like the bow. I am very pleased with mine. It launches the arrow with authority and shoots well for me.

Jeff

My daughter has a Ben Pearson that Whip just refinished. I wasn't to sure about a string either and he had mentioned "Oliverstacey" on here. I got the strings and am very pleased with them. Give him a shout, you can't go wrong with his strings
