PSE kingfisher limb options
« on: May 15, 2011, 01:21:00 PM »
i just recieved a kingfisher recurve off my cousin and the limbs are HORRIBLY warped to the sides. i plan on throwing a new set of limbs on just for the purpose of bowfishing. what type of limbs would work on the riser? and im not going for a gold standard bow this is just a fishing bow that im not gonna be scared to sit on the ground or drop it in the water.

thanks ahead of time,
steven

I picked up a like new PSE compound real cheap at the flea market that uses the same riser. I took it apart and thought about using Samick Sage limbs on it, but they are too wide and won't fit the limb pocket. So, I ended up selling the riser to a fella who was going to warf it with the adapter plates.  He said they make an excellent warf riser.  BTW, I was told replacement recurve limbs from PSE are about $60 a set, they should be plenty good for a bowfishing rig.
