Northern Michigan Bowfishing question

Does anybody know if its possible to wade grand traverse bay for carp. My wife wants to do the wine tasting thing. I'm trying to find something to make it more worthwhile for me.

I'm pretty sure you can, (not that I've done it). I know there's an outfit up there that offers flyfishing expeditions for carp. Might want to check with some of the sport shops up there.

There should be some areas you can do that up there. Find a map with the lake depths on it and locate those shallow bays.

The east side of East Grand Traverse Bay has carp that the fly fisherman wade out into the water for. If you looked on a map, it's the stretch just north of 5 mile road on US 31 north. There's about a 400 yard stretch that's wadible.
