Looking to go to unit 47 near Ruedi reservoir, Mt Yeckel area. We looked at chapman creek road and South fork road going into the hunter fryingpan wilderness. Has anyone been to this area? We are going in blind and could use some help. Bill

I don't know about elk, but when my dad and I went fishing at the Frying Pan we saw alot of muledeer in camp at the reservoir. Some were decent bucks to boot. Good luck on your hunt.
If you have time it would be worth your while to take a flyrod etc. There are some Hogs in that river.
