I shoot carbon express heritage 250s from a 53 pound longbow with 50 grain brass inserts and a 175 grain point and they fly perfect bareshaft at 28 1/2 inches this would not work for you but I would look into those shafts

I draw 50@29" (3-under) and shoot the following arrows:

1) Carbon Express Heritage 250 (30") with 175 tip / 535 grains.

2) Easton Axis 400 (full length) with 175 tip / 500 grains.

3) Easton Excel 400 (30.5") with 145 grain tip / 465 grains.

4) GT blemished 55/75 30.5" with 145 grain tip / 450 grains.

All these work great, but I prefer the added weight of the Carbon Express 250 for hunting.

Good Luck.

I also shoot 35/55's. My bow is 52#'s @ 29".  I have the regular adapter but use a long steel insert w/ a 125 grain woodsman.   They fly great.

get yerself a shaft test kit - carbon, wood, alum, whatever - and field points from 125 to 250 grains.  for each spine range, leave one bare shaft at full length, one bare shaft at your draw length (plus appropriate overhang added length) and the same at yer draw length but fletched up.  vary the point weights and see how they fly.  you may find that different bows like different arrow spines, lengths, mass weights .... the ONLY way to suss all this out is with your testing.  it's that subjective.

Have you bare shafted that full lenght 3555?  A full length one with 245 gr. up front sounds a little weak if that curve is cut past center like most.  I just tried to shoot a 3555 or 500 out of a cut to center longbow and they were way weak with aluminum inserts and 145 points on them in a bow just a couple pounds heavier and just hair more draw length.  I had to build out the strike plate to work with them.  I had two curves cut past center at about 50@29 this winter and both needed 5575 shafts about 30" with 100 gr. inserts and 145-175 points.
