hmmm..buy a bow while waiting for another one to get build - why didn't think of that?    :D

The Kanati is a real looker, don't see a clear pic in the website showing a strung version to compare the forward handle with that of a shrew.  Also noticed limb options is only in "amber-boo" although I remember seeing a gray bark version somewhere online
Thanks

Might consider the bamabows expedition. My son has one and it is a smooth bow. Very reasonable price.

I got to shoot a Super Shrew for a couple of days and was very impressed. I own a Thunderchild and would be hard pressed to pick a winner, both great bows.
Having done so much, with so little, for so long, I can now do anything with nothing.

Getting a lot of feedback on JK Kanati and Big Jim Thunderchild as Shrew-like bows (not to take away anything from the Kanati or Thunderchild.

How to the Kanati and Thunderchild compare to each other - I know it's a matter of personal opinion but I am curious if I have to make a choice without the luxury of shooting them.
Thanks

Steve,

Having purchased one of your bows some time ago, I am certain that any bow you make is outstanding! That EagleWing is a pretty little bow!

The Shrew is a great bow for sure but having shot and owned several Shrews and Kanatis I liked the Kanati better . Seemed to be the same as far as smooth drawing but the Kanati was a little quicker and I liked the grip better . I also shot the Kanati better and wait time and cost  was less .

BAMABOWS EXPEDITION! It's an awesome bow with a great price tag, short wait, and Nate is top-notch to work with!
