Have a 45lb sage i'm gonna start practicing with. Came w/a p16 dacron string. A brace height of around 8.25 seems to be recommended by twisting the string. If I'm just going to be shooting it mostly on weekends should I unstring the bow after use or not? It didn't come w/a stick on rest but I'd rather shoot it off the shelf anyway. Have some beman ics 500 7.3 carbons. Is the limb w/ the info on it the bottom one? I think it is. Just bought a hurricane bag target and am ready to go. Start close and be consistent. Any other advice appreciated. Thanks

The search feature is a great place to start, it will answer most any question you encounter. Go ahead and visit the shooters forum and figure out the "form clock" from Terry Green, its helps alot.

Also i leave all my bows strung unless im putting them up for a a month or so, or if i am gong on a trip, hope this helps.

Hey Chris, great to see another KY guy on here! I have a buddy who has a sage, with a bear weatherest and a D-97 flemish, 14 strand string it is a hammer. We got the brace height to 7 and 3/4 on his, put in some wool puffs, whisper quiet and shoots like bows costing hundreds of dollars more. The Dacron string that came with his was way too short, sounds like yours is also. If you need a string, holler back.I wouldnt hesitate to take it hunting. What part of Ky do you live in, maybe we could get together sometime.Sam.
