Must be my lucky day, I was drawn for Segment C for Nov 30th - Dec 2nd.
Will be my first time hunting there and plan on spending a weekend scouting and looking for a good place to camp close by.
Would like to hear from anyone who has hunted there or knows of a good place to camp.

Congrats to both you guys. I've been so busy that I forgot to put in this year. Sabas, as much as you've been working you better put in for vacation right now.

Maybe I'll bump into you up there. I'm really looking forward to the hunt, always enjoy hunting somewhere new.
Have you and your son hunted there before ?
No more than the place is hunted there should be a good poulation of deer I would think and probably some bruisers walking around.

My son hunted there once an saw plenty of game but the one he is looking for did not get close enough. This will be my first attempt, trying to get off to get qualified, looking for a place.
Bill I am still on 7 twelves except for the past 4 days I worked 16's.No daylight until September or October. But I would probably just quit for Nov.30-Dec.2. to hunt with my son.

Thanks sabas silva, appreciate the help.
I hope you guys are staying dry over that way, if the weather keeps up the Hagerman deer may be in Waco by next week.
