First 5 out of the new Stingray.....
« on: June 02, 2011, 09:23:00 PM »
I've been shooting a cheap 66" bow for a while now, but I had to face the fact that it was too long for my taste... and certainly wasn't an elk stick. So I bit the bullet and bought the 50# Samick Stingray that Ringneck had for sale in the classifieds (great guy by the way).

After a few shots up close to get a feel for the bow.... I stepped back to 18 yards and let 5 fly... I think I'm gonna like this little bow.

I think you are right.  However, you probably should send it down here to Louisiana for some fine tuning.  LOL.

Lookin' good.

Shot it more in the basement last night... and I'm still pretty impressed. I love the grip, and it draws smooth, even out to my 30".... the bow is quiet and super quick.

I can't believe you can find bows like this for $160-$175... heck, even brand new they're well under $250.

My Samick TD is a nail-driver as well.  I can't find anything I don't like about it.  Congrats on the bow.  Enjoy!

I am a fan of Samick products. I've owned several Samicks, Red Stag TD, Deer Master TD, Nitehawk TD, all excellent bows and great shooters.  I just picked up a Trad Tech Pinnacle II riser and already had a couple sets of TT limbs, they are all made by Samick for Trad Tech.  Glad you like your Stingray, looks like its a shooter too.
