Hi there im setting up a hoyt gamemaster 2 as my wet weather bow and want to use carbon arrows with vanes as a nice easy set up for my winter deer buster. What elevated rest would be the best? i love simple and strong no wizzbang flashy crap.

I have an NAP Centerest Flipper on my GM2. Very sturdy and easy to tune. Works well with 4" vanes. Enjoy.

The simple Bear weather rest worked great on my Dorado.

Nice so a Hoyt hunter stick on rest should work as well.

Why is it that they need a plunger?

I use stick on brush rests and Neet pro rests, both stick on. For the Neet I just bend the metal if I show up underspined. For the brush rest I just stick velcro or leather over it. Your Hoyt is probably set up for a plunger though and it probably makes tuning a breeze.

I use these old golden Eagle rests or the Brush rests, both work great with my 41/2" vanes.fly like darts out of my Silvertip's.

I have one that i use on one of my Titans, it's a good no nonsense tough rest. Easy to tune buy a spare end for it.

Nice thanks heaps mate I think I will go with the one without the flipper it just looks a bit more durable and no nonsense as you said. I'll write a little review on my set up and tuning when I get it all together.
