That is actually my feather burned ones.  I preferred that burn over the cut from the chopper, but I had to try it to see if it was any better.

As for the 57# limbs sitting...until my boys want to shoot them, I see no need to bring them out unless I am going for elk or moose.  It is nice to have the option of just changing out limbs when you feel like it and keeping the same feel of the bow you are very comfortable with.
