Baby walnut challenge
« on: June 17, 2011, 02:00:00 PM »
Had some fun at the range today. I shoot a lot and I am always looking something challenging to shoot. While walking to the 30 yard butt, I looked down and saw some baby walnuts that had fallen off the tree. I went to my truck and got some fishing line and tied the walnut to one end and the other to a stick and placed the stick on top of the target box. This placed the walnut in front of the target, then I swung it so I was shooting at a moving target. The walnuts are about the size of a ping pong ball. Great practice for instinctive shooters. I started at 23 yards and when I made a solid hit, I would move back. I made it to 30 yards and ran out of time. Concentrate and you will be amazed at how accurate you are. Have fun !!!
