There's a couple of guys up there that I know of.  Maybe they'll chime in.

I lived there back the the 1990s. Fantastic place.  There used to be a couple of shops, one near Costco.  They had an indoor range, but were mostly compound guys.  There was another guy in the Valley, that had a little shop out of his house.  He was mostly compound, too.  I have no idea if they are still open, though.

Juneau does have one of the most awesome archery ranges I've ever seen.  It's up Montana Creek past the rifle range. I used to spend hours and hours up there.

Sorry man.  In Anchorage.
You get to keep what you kill.  If it were easy there would be no value in it.

There are two archery shops I Juneau: Archery Outfitters, and another run by Kirk McBride. Can't remember what Kirk calls his shop, but he's the one I would go to as he is into trad gear.

There is a new indoor range in the same building as the gun range on Montana Creek road. When I was there a couple of weeks ago, there were mostly trad shooters there. Had a great time! Go to  www.juneauarchery.com  for their summer schedule and other Juneau Archery Club info.

As a former Adakian, I wish I was there with you.  Adak had great caribou and duck geese and ptarmigan hunting to be envied
