Shakes, as you may already have pointed out, chairs like the one you're considering in which the legs form a bar across the back don't work well next to trees.  The tree root buttresses tend to push the chair too far from the tree.  Would work OK where there are no trees around.

I use the bag chairs without the arms.

Too low for me, tried it years ago. I use regular sack chairs and am sold on the Double bull magnum chair, for $35, solid, comfortable, right height, and I have a bad back, the lumbar support works great.
