Carbon Spine to Wood spine?
« on: June 28, 2007, 04:36:00 PM »
I'm shooting CX250 Heritage Shafts:

30" BOP
2 Grain Weight, behind insert and 175 Grain Field Tip.

What would be comparable in spine with a wood shaft??

Since wood is spined differently(13" centers compared to 14" centers a comparable woodie would need to be spine right around 77#s I do believe to match the spine of the shaft, but if you want to shoot the same point weight and a 30" woodie it would need to spine around 90-95 to get the same flight.
