Help Me Out Measurments
« on: July 02, 2011, 02:37:00 PM »
Hey guys I am building a line of finger tabs out of Cordavan I just need some measurments to figure out a small, medium, large and xtra large. The mesurments I need are as follows middle finger from tip to where finger ends or becomes your hand. The next measurement is the width of all three shooting fingers together. Then let me know what size you consider yourself. I measure 3 1/8" middle finger and 2 1/2" 3 fingers wide I would think I would be Md to Lg but I build my own so I am not sure. Later I will post a pic of my new Tabs. Lets get some data going.
Thanks Scott

Scott,

I'm 3.5" L and 2.5 W. I usually wear size large in gloves.

I've never tried a tab for two under and had it work well enough to consider staying with it. I use a glove just because I can't seem to get a tab that works for two under shooting.

I have small hands. My middle finger is 3 1/8" long, 2 1/4" (3 fingers) wide.

I buy Bateman split finger tabs, with spacer and the size I order is "small". The size small tab fits perfectly.

Hey Scott,
Going great here in Hawaii.  Glad to hear that you're expanding on your line of products. Your leather work is top notch! I'm currently using a 3 under, small, right hand, layered tab.

Aloha!
Ryan

Well mine's 3 3/4" long, and 2 3/4" wide.  I shoot 3 under by the way, and usually make my own.  I'd think I'd be a large or xl.

I wear an extra large and my width is 3.5"s but I am an exception. I wear a size 17 ring(had acromegaly which is a form of gigantism)so my width is as big as length. I usually have to enlarge the hole if it is that type of tab. I shoot an angel tab that has a nylon velcro adjustment for my finger to go thru. Shawn
