Bear Bow ID

I came across an old Fred Bear recurve and was able to get it cheap...it is a grizzly, black limbs, says grayling michigan on it, #50 at 28', 58' AMO...any way to tell what year model it is? I was guessing mid 70's but I wasn't sure?

O and it has some sort of ivory colored tip overlays if that helps?

How about a picture.
It may be older than mid 70s.

If you put this in the Trad History,Collecting forum you will probably get more responses.Serial number and picture could help.I just can't remember one with black limbs but I'm more familiar with the 60's Grizzly.Nice bows.

If the Bear Glass Powered Grizzly silkscreen is on the belly of the bow it's a 1972. If this silkscreen is on the back it's a 1971.
Nice bow. I was just shooting a 1971 the other day. They will definitely get the job done.

Here is a website that seems to be pretty good on the history of all things Bear...
No links to other talk forums please
