If you can't find them, check out our new sponsor at
http://www.tuffhead.com/
These look like a fine head with some of the best traits of the Grizzly, and some nice enhancements, as well!

Yeah Hawkeye, gotta agree, except for the price of $17.83 a head plus shipping, way too rich for my blood.

Tuffhead looks like a high quality head, albeit a bit heavier than I would like. Maybe Abowyers then?
I think it is a bit strange that El Grandes are not available, but the normal versions are.

put a 100 gr adaptor in a 160 Stos ... still 3:1, waaay cheaper and kills 'em dead

my vote for the STOS. In fact I think that the STOS were introduced basically as a bouble bevel alternative to the grizzly. Also the 160 is thick and tough.

I would need heads for my woodies. I have 1 dz of old style 190 gr grizzlies, but most of them have bad tapers (mismatched pieces). I hope that new Grizzlies are more consistent quality, if I ever get them.
Yes I might try that Tuffhead. I guess that it can be reused a quite few times, so cost is not really an issue....

DG2,the ferrule on the new 200 Grizzlys is excellent. It is actually round and a much more accurate 5 degrees. It fits adapters very well. The bevel is close to 25 degrees and the grind is better than the old ones but not sharp. The quality is good. Most of mine came at about 210-212 grs. That is good because it takes some metal removal to get them sharp.
The problem is getting them.I don't know what is going on there.Normally they would have been making them by now.I have to think they have been losing a lot of sales.Good luck in your search. You would like them.

I wrote KK and asked they substitute with the ACE 200gr heads if the Grizzlys aren't coming in soon.
We'll see.

I'm waiting on some 160 standards from Kustom King. Hope they are one the way as they showed they were in stock.
