Opinions on Mag1 and lower poundage bow!!!
« on: July 11, 2011, 08:42:00 PM »
I have dropped down in bow weight, My current setup is Black Widow PL longbow 46@28. I am shooting GT3555 with 200 grains up front (total weight 505 grains). My question is whats yall's experience with Mag1 broadheads in the lower weight bows. I have it tuned well and the broadheads are flying great. I have killed several deer and hogs with the mag1,s but that was with heavier bows and more point weight. I usually shoot more weight up front but for this bow I dropped down and just kinda wondering how its gonna do, either way I should know soon, bought to get after hogs as soon as small game season comes in.

You should have no trouble getting two holes in whitetails with that setup. I have taken a couple of deer with them on a 500gr arrow and 45@27 bow that is not as fast as your BW PL. Sharp and in the right spot.
Every one is ignorant its just on different subjects
