Anybody know about a Martin Jaguar???

I've been looking at a Jaguar for doing some bow fishing and such. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with one. I'd really like to do away with that little arrow rest and shoot it off the shelf if anyone has experience with that as well.
Thanks,

While working at BP I saw quite a few and every one I've seen was terrible (strange because I've always been a Martin fan, had some good ones thru the years). Sloppy workmanship, some even had to have the limbs ground down to fit in the pockets, none of limbs fit straight as sent, several limbs delaminated----you name it these things were not a bargain even at the price
get a PSE Kingfisher or spend a few more bucks and get a Mustang---you'll be a lot happier

I too am a Martin fan and have a few Martin/Howatt bows.I believe the Jaguar is imported and not made by Martin. It is a basic starter bow,not in the same class as Martin/Howatt bows in my opinion.

Thanks, I was thinking it might not be made by Martin. I have two Martin's now and it didn't look like the same quality.

I have shot a Martin Jaguar with none of the problems that are listed above. I had good limb fit, no problems with delamination after 1k shots or so. I would recommend it as for I have never had any problems with mine.
The bow in my picture is that Jaguar. I bought it used and I am sure it was shot a bunch before I got it.
If the problems that others have seen or experianced turn you off of the Jaguar, then I would suggest trying out the Samick Sage. Pete W. did a review of it. You should be able to find it with a quick search.
