I love the Maine wilderness. Very rugged, quiet, brutal. Glad its fairly close to me. Who's Eldon? I'm always up for a blackie hunt?

Dave,
Check out Hunters Point Guide Service (a Sponsor here). I've hunted with Eldon since 2000 and enjoyed every hunt. He's a LB shooter and knows the needs of us stickbow fanatics. Best regards, Todd

Todd, that was an incredible moose hunt you had wioth Eldon!  Sure would like to be going this fall again for bears ar Eldon's place....hopefully next year again.  Headed out to Wyoming in August for a try at antelope. Jeff, you guys have a great hunt!

I have spoken with Eldon several times and he seems like a very knowledgeable person. But after much consideration I went with Tony Boucher at Squapan Mountain Outfitters. His hunts are all inclusive and the accomidations and food are top notch. Tony and his guides put you on active baits and do everything possible to make it a memorable hunt. I have never regretted my decision.

Eldon has a special for week 3 and 4....two for one. Book a hunt and bring a friend along for free...or split the cost of the hunt. You can also fill out a form to be drawn for a free head mount of your bear...all you need to do is shoot the bear.

Sure wish I was going back to Eldon's place this Fall.  You'd be hard-pressed to find a better Maine guide.
