Are they a good bow?Can you buy extra limbs for them even though they bolt on to the bow?
Thanks,
Todd

If I remember correctly, the Bear Hunter was made by Samick in Korea.

I would expect that limbs made by Samick would be available and fit the riser.

I cannot remember the model name of the Samick but I believe it is still in production.

Todd, never had one,but as a bear collector I was considering to buy one. All the reviews i had were the same:less than impressive bow, someone called it a dog!But for sure for the price they go...About extra limbs they are offered from time to time, not sure about the Samick thing.

I have one, my first recurve actually, that was bought from Cabelas mail order in 1991.  Mine won't shoot with my Widows or Kodiaks, but it'll more than do the job.  I'm not gonna say anything is wrong, but I don't think Samick had anything to do with them....or at least I don't think they did when I bought mine.

Since it was a birthday gift, mine goes out every November on my birthday.

I own two a LH and RH. The LH was purchased for my son and the weight was too much for him. Could only obtain limbs in a lower weight by purchasing the entire bow. The bow is not a bad shooter and is very light as compared to my others.

I have a left hand 55#.  Seems alright to me.  I don't like it as well as my Kodiak Hunter, but it's alright.  I use it as a workout bow mainly.  I didn't know that Samick bit.  Not sure what I think about that new information yet.
