I remember an old timer making one out of an old arrow and pvc and it would collapse. The arrow would go in the dirt and there was a "fork" type end to hold the bottom limb of the bow so it was upright.
Anyone have any idea how to make something like this or any other device to hold a bow up in front for close grabbing for those of us who hunt off the ground and nothing to lean the bow on.
**EDIT**
Played with a few ideas and this was the best, most simple, and most effective version to pack in on a hunt.
Used Bob's idea and ran with it...here is something I made and it works like a charm!! Keeps the blow where I want it and keeps my hands free if I need to do something from calling/rattling/binos/checking the winds/napping etc.
Its some para cord, an S hook, and alligator clip, and a cord lock...I am going to make a few more and adjust it slightly but this will will work just fine!
