I feel your pain, Mike.
From January to March, this year, I made bows 7 days a week, sometimes till 10pm, so I could go on a long trip. Sometimes in the morning, I couldn't close my fingers, or raise my arms above my head. I went through the shoulder thing over 10 years ago, and It took about 3 years to get better. I think I just learned to avoid stressing it so much when I worked. Work bench height and the right tool handles helps a lot. Also, air tools and small sanding drums on flexible shafts, helps relieve the pressure on my fingers and joints.
