Greetings, I've caught the trad bug and recently got my hands on a 1974 Howatt Hunter 45# @28". My draw is 28.5". I've been reading a lot about determining draw length/arrow selection etc., and these are the arrow selections from the "charts".
Aluminum = 2018 & 2215, Carbon (Beman)= 400. I will eventually get some wood arrows as well, but leaning towards carbon with 125 grain points. Am I in the ball park to get going? Will fine tune as I learn. I ask because I've read through other posts that some charts like Eastons don't do it for some. Please share your suggestions. Thanks.
