Pearson Mach 1-HELP!
« on: August 08, 2011, 02:18:00 PM »
Ben Pearson Mach 1 recurves. Need any info you can give. I have never shot one, too short for me. I just got one in really nice shape, looks like it was refinished so I put eastern diamondback skins on it and buffed it up.
Going to sell it but don't have any clue what they are worth. I've seen them on the big auction sell for 15 dollars to well over 200, and have no idea why. Any special info or are these just standard cookie cutter- dime a dozen Pearson bows?

I wish I could help you.  I had a Pearson recurve as a first bow in high school and just recently got interested again and purchased one on auction.  I watched them for a while and like you said Pearson bow prices are all over the place.  I wish I knew more about the different models.  I just wanted one for nostalgia sake.

David, I don't know a whole lot about the Mach I but I do believe the made quite a few of them back in the day. I think the price really is dependent upon the condition of the bow and what someone is willing to pay. You did a great job on those skins by the way!    :campfire:
