Outfitters in NC
« on: August 10, 2011, 12:35:00 PM »
Hi!
I'm planning a biz trip to Raleigh NC during september and wondering about throwing in a quick hunt:)
Does anybody know about some outfitters for deer, bear or hogs? Might be a one or two days hunt!

Thanks Margly

For deer. If the outfitter thing doesnt pan out for you.

You have some nice public game lands around Raliegh.  Sharron Harris, Jordan, Butner-Falls.  All within 30-35 min. of downtown Raleigh.  All it will cost you is your out of state hunting and big game license.

I used to hunt Harris & Jordan years ago.  Always seen pleanty of deer.

Just an option for you.

I don't have access to anything but public hunting but a canoe trip for largemouth bass is doable. Chris

North Carolina Bowhunters Association  www.ncbowhunter.com

Contact Ramon Bell, President of NCBA and ask about outfitters that support NCBA, there are at least eight. [email protected]

Bow season for Deer in the Eastern and Central zones opens on Sept. 10, these are the areas to the east and west of Raleigh.
