BOWCASE / 4 WHEELER IDEAS?
« on: August 11, 2011, 11:58:00 AM »
In CO it's required to have the bow cased when on a 4wheeler.  The only case i have is for the bow unstrung and without the slide on selway quiver on.  I was thinking about using a 4" piece of PVC have a cap for each end and then a slot that runs half way down the length of it.  Then I could unstring the bow and slide it in the case but the arrows and quiver would hang outside the case. I could ziptie it to the front and rear racks.
Any other ideas?
Thanks
TIM B

The Kathy Kelly strung recurve cases with the quiver cutouts are pretty handy.  They are a little pricey and you may need to use a little extra padding if strapping on an ATV but they are pretty convenient.

Tim, the best thing I found so far has been a case made by NEET, you can see it on their web page. It is I think 65" by 10" by 5". I strap it on my atv on one side from the front to the back rack...good padding and I can put my 62" long bow , strung with my selway with arrows in it.
