i use the wildgame, didnt want to spend a bunch of money on something that might not be there when i went to check it.   it will open your eyes to what is in your area when your not.....its fun.

I went with a more expensive model that uses a SIM card to send the images real time.  Gives you a good pulse on what is going on.

Of course you need AT&T cell phone coverage in your area.

Bushnell Trophycam XL works very well. Batteries lasted 10 months. Color in daytime and infra red black and white in the dark. Fast trigger time. Fun to check and see whart is around.

CarbonK, I think that's the biggest reason guys don't invest in expensive cams (I know that's why I didn't). It's sad really... But on the other hand, some of those less expensive cams are pretty darn nice!

Funny story! I had bought a 2nd hand Deer Cam years ago. Great camera. Lots of deer, fisher cat, red and grey fox, coyote, raccoon and several good bucks all picked up pre season. I was never so excited for a hunt. But while the season started, I stayed away from the cam as not to put any human scent in the hot spot. So I hunted the week in that spot due to all the deer pics. Never saw a thing in 5 days hunting. Gave up and went in to check the camera. Had to get the pics developed, and lo and behold! There was the issue! About 50 pictures of my buddies beagle "Odie" searching frantically for me around my tree. I never saw him because my friend kept him in while I was hunting. But when I got out of the woods he'd let Odie out to roam "his" woods. When I brought the pics to my friend's house we laughed our butts off at Odie trying to figure out where my trail went after I climbed my tree. Pic after pic of the dog plowing through the whole hotspot searching for me. Deer Cam answered my puzzling week of no action whatsoever!
