Anyone ever seen one of these? (Hunting Manuel)
« on: August 11, 2011, 06:27:00 PM »
A buddy of mine gave this to me.  Some interesting articles about hunting and preparing for many different kinds of animals, and some very interesting ads. The ads really make this book and some are downright comical   :)

Published in 1958 and also has some great pics in it, and some articles that appear to have been written by Fred Bear.

Anyone ever seen one of these?

(Mods - this may belong in the history forum, but as a hunting manuel I didn't know if PowWow would be ok - move is you need to and I apologize if it is incorrect)

I have one of them I bought when they came out. Very cool, and look at the retail prices. Ken

Look at the last pic. of the Bow Hush-h-h-h quiver. Loved those old quivers with no hoods and the broadheads exposed sticking straight up. Can you imagine the lawsuits today if you manufactured that?
