Highly recommend an all welded aluminum 1860 for bowfishing. It's wide and very stable no matter how many guys you have in it.

The lowe boat company makes some really nice wide john boats. I owned a sixteen that was over six foot across the bottom, super stable and would carry three guys and a ton of duck hunting gear across sandusky bay in pretty heavy seas very easily. Great boat, cant say enough about em, I am trying to buy my old one back right now as I was that impressed. Would make a fantastic bowfishing boat as they are super stable and only draft a few inches of water, good luck!

get you a good all welded 18/60 or 2072. These new 12v leds are the coming thing and are bright and easy on batteries and will be on a lot of tourney boats including my airboat in the next 2 years. you dont have to listen to a genny with them and you can use quick detach mounts or mount the lights on pipe that will fit in rod holders and come off in seconds.
Be careful though the bowfishing bug bites hard!! I started with a 2072 and trolling motor(still have it for catfish) then went to a 18' fanboat with back up troller and from there to a 20' airboat rigged especially for bowfishin with digital ballast so I can run either HPS or MH lights depending on the water clarity.i also got tired of getting stuck in the other boats!! :D
With the AB i can fish 1000+ pounds of people and still stack in another 1000lbs of fish and get back to the boat ramp with no problem
