« on: August 17, 2011, 12:07:00 PM »
I bought a dozen 2018`s from the classifieds they were all full length never fletched.Even though they are all marked 2018 one is bigger.Anyone ever seen this before.I have no clue what size it is.I will have to get the calipers from work to measure it.

Maybe it was miss marked.  If you weigh it, and it is different, then you know.

If it is mismarked, it would be a neat conversation piece.

I`m positive it`s mismarked.I wonder how many they did like this.I wish I`d have noticed before I cut it but I didn`t until I went to put the insert in.

Is it bigger or just thinner walled? a 2016 will be larger inside and 2018 inserts will be loose.
Sometimes the markings get worn pretty and and it is hard to see the difference between 16 and 18

Or you may have inadvertently gotten an insert for a 2020 shaft mixed with your inserts.

It is bigger inside and out.Inserts are for 2018`s,they all came from a sealed pack and tried an insert in this one and it was too small.Went fine in the other shaft.2018 is very legible

Please no pics wider than 640

I just bought a dozen new never cut/shot arrows from the classified that had vanes on them for $55.  Stripped the vanes and refletched them.
