Baby Backpacks and bows for new parents
« on: August 17, 2011, 08:46:00 PM »
I just wanted to share these pic's for those of you who are new or about to be new parents. This backpack is made by Sherpani and it is the Rhomba Ultralight model. Evan seems very content being in it and it doesn't seem to affect my shooting much either.

Had one like that for my kids and they liked it and it was good exercise as well.

Here is my then 6 1/2 year old in my backpack on a scouting trip.  We hiked in about 5 miles and tried to locate some potential spots for turkeys and deer.  He hiked most of the way back but loves to be in that pack and is a great workout.

His brother fit into a kelty backpack for kids until he was about 4 but the seat started to get too tight for him.

Can't beat having your kid as a backpack weight!
Give me a bow a topo and two weeks, and I guarantee I kill two weeks!

My daughter is 2 and up until last month's 3D shoot has ridden around in my Kelty Kid Carrier at all the shoots.  Really helps you get ready for hunting season and shooting with a backpack on.  At the last shoot she decided that she was ready to shoot her bow too, so she walked along with my wife and I and flung her suction cup arrows at the 3D targets.  This picture was back when she was about 7 months.
