Stinger Buzzcuts
« on: August 18, 2011, 03:29:00 PM »
I just received two packs of Stinger Buzzcuts from Hidden E archery. I thought I had ordered 150 grain 4 blade regular stingers but I must have clicked the wrong button and selected the 150 grain two blade buzzcuts. In looking at the Hidden E website it appears that they do not even carry the 150 grain 4 blade regular stingers. I have never used buzzcuts before and I am concerned about resharpening the serrated edges. Normally, I resharpen my stingers with an accu sharp and can get them very sharp with just a few strokes of the accu sharp. I would not think that the accu sharp would work on the buzzcuts but do not know. Does anyone here have any experience hunting with the buzzcuts? Any advice on sharpening?  Thanks for any input.
To me, the ultimate challenge in bowhunting is not how far away you can succesfully make a killing shot but rather how close you can get to the animal before shooting.
