I think I read and laughed at Paddy. I have subscribed for years and read what peaks my interest,   Some very opinionated folks writing from time to time. To me it's sticks strings and feathers ,target or game animals.

Have been a subscriber since somehow stumbling on the Premier Issue.  It is my favorite magazine and I should have every single copy somewhere around here.

To gently disagree a little with PaddyMac.  There's no way our meager subscription costs (really, what does it amount to, a couple of delivery pizzas?) actually cover what we get in TBM.  The advertisers' dollars make such a publication affordable for the rest of us.

That said, I really like TradGang as a source of information but TBM is a top-notch magazine and I just skip the articles that are not specifically interesting to me (even though they may be the best ones according to the next guy).  Different strokes...

subjectively diff'rent strokes for diff'rent folks.

i will be labelled as biased and probably rightly so, but for my dollars i'll say instinctive archer magazine was the benchmark for traditional archery & bowhunting world wide.

that said, what's left?  tbm.  take it or leave it.  i'll take it, thank you.   :)

Oh, I'm not that Paddy Mac.

LV2Hunt, not letter TO the editor, letter FROM the editor, the masthead editor's column that's upfront each issue.

I'm an op-ed columnist. Disagreement doesn't bother me a bit.      :)

Wary, I would doubt that circulation revenues pay for the editorial well production and the postage alone. You're quite right about that. Most magazines are totally dependent on advertising dollars. Nothing wrong with that.

Rob, I haven't seen Instinctive Archer. I'll check it out.
