Woodsmans w/ adapters?
«
on:

Anyone have any luck with the original woodsman BH that is pre-mounted on the adapter? Do they spin true? Do the adapters stay in well?
I see they are considerably less money than the elites for twice as many heads...
Thanks,
Brian

Glue the adapters in youself. That way you know that they will spin true and will stay in.

I would like to, but need 150gr. the 125gr original plus the 3R adapter plus the epoxy puts you well over 150. The pre-mounted BH is advertised as 150gr.. So I thought I could dumb it down a little by purchasing pre-mouned.
Thanks,
B

I have shot PLENTY of deer with the 150gr's. Had some minor production problems the first year (apx. 10yrs ago), even then I was killing deer with them.
Still using some of those older heads and still flying true.

They work well. Its all Ive shot for years. Once in a while you get one that isn't quite straight so I just heat up the head with a torch and re-glue it onto the adapter

great heads. If they do break or bend they have lifetime replacement guarantee.

Braveheart Archery (sponser here) sells a Magnus brand short 11/32 dia 25 grain aluminum adapter that would give you the 150 grains you need with your 125 grain glue ons. I shoot heavier Woodsmans and use the steel adapters, they work great.
