Smith's Pocket Pal Knife/Broadhead Sharpener

I was searching for something smaller than my Accusharp to take to Colorado next week and came across this sharpener. It is really small and works just as well. I have it zip tied to my knife sheath for easy and sure access. It's got the same carbide sharpeners as the Accusharp but also ceramic shones and a awesome little stick to sharpen my gut hook.
Do a search for Smith's "Pocket Pal". I got mine at Meijer's here in Indy but you can order them online too.

I like mine alot for knives. Doesn't work on Wensel Woodsman, though. Three blades don't fit in the groove when you get to the tip. Other than that, love it.

Ha! Just picked mine up from gander today. Great timing!
After a little file work and a couple zips through the carbide blades, my STOS heads are freakishly sharp. Few days and I'll have the scar to prove it.

My father had given me one for Christmas and I just now took it out of the package to try on my 4 blade Zwickeys! All I can say is OMG!! I actually consider myself a fairly good sharpener...but this little tool makes such short work of the task, I am hooked!
On the file started main blades, I just did 10 strokes ever lighter on the carbides followed by 10 light strokes on the ceramics and the blades were crazy shard! REALLY! They were scalpel sharp!
I used the ceramic rod to sharpen the small blades! It worked awesome! 10 strokes on the small blades had them shaper than I ever could with a triangle file!
Incredible tool!!! Wish I could use them on 3 blade broadheads :( I'm buying a couple extras!!!

Yep. I have one as well and a RADA Mfg. wheelie sharpener. I can't sharpen a broadhead with a file, hone, or stone worth anything. But, a couple of strokes with either of these little gems and I am scary sharp. Keep one at my workbench and one in my backpack.
