The one piece is a prototype that Bill is working on. Early reviews seem to be quite favorable.

I had an old one that Bob Thompson made. Pretty decent bow as I remember, never shot it much as I got it in a trade. Traded it off soon after.

I think I shot Bill proto at denton hill. If that was the one it was nice!

I had an original one made by Bob Thompson. It was a very tempermental thing. I dont think they ever really perfected the design. Dont get me wrong im absolutly not bashing Mr Thompsons bows but after fighting that thing for 4 years or so i had enough. I had a recurve he built me for about 15 years that i loved befor my limb cracked. He didnt offer the long bows very long.

Big difference in design, performance and material from the "OLD" Zipper 1 piece and the new one Bill is working on.

The Thompson longbows are very similar in design to the JD Berry's.Narrow thick core and trapped limbs,w/ a slight reflex.
