«

Hi all, I need help to keep my sanity, lol. I was some what watching a hunting show the other day as I was doing therapy, and I swore they had a new pair of shears with three blades to breast out dove or quails, quick and easy. Anyone else seen these or know about them? I have looked on the internet, but cann't find them, must be nuts, lol. thanks.

No idea, but I usually just peel the skin off the breast with my thumbs and filet the meat of in two little slices. Can do several a minute that way. Don't bother with removing wings, heads, feathers, etc. With larger birds (Prarie Chicken, pheasant) it takes a little more umf to get them open, but dove just about falls apart when you grab em.

Kind of like Sweeny but I just tear the whole breast off them.

Me and my son can breast em out quick, fast and in a hurry with just regular kithen shears. I want to get some of the purpose built game shears but haven't gotten a round to it yet. Chris

Nope haven't seen the tool but me and five of my friends cleaned 90 doves this morning Sweeney's way. Took about 15 minutes.
