RER Arroyo or GP B-Model ???
« on: July 05, 2007, 07:24:00 PM »
Interested in both of these bows and I've heard a lot of good things about both.  I'm interested in the opinions of those who have shot both.  Of course, I'm referring to the GP one-piece B-Model.

I know there are a lot of RER fans on this site and I've searched for and read all the posts that sing the praises of both of those bows.  So, again, if you have shot both and can give me an unbiased comparison, I'm all ears.  Thanks!!

Well I have had 3 GP's and loved them all. Money problems and a sickness called BOHO made me sell them. I also have shot RERBOWS Arroyo I have been friends with Kevin and Sue for the last 4 years and field test bows for them and I can say the Arroyo is faster and smoother then the GP's I had. The Arroyo has static tips which is why it is smoother and faster IMO. Both bows are very quiet. Pick which bow ya like best or flip a coin I am sure you will be happy with the one you pick. But if it was upto me it would be a Arroyo. And not because I am friends with them but I just like the Arroyo better.<><

You are going to have to try both to know for sure.I love the GP grip but I don't remember if that model is cut to or past center.I personaly find bows cut past center easier to tune.

I have owned and shot both. I now have a Arroyo 54"s and love it. I agree with Frank, all except about the quietness. My Arroyo is about the quietest recurve I have ever shot and the Arroyo has a smoother draw for me, even though it is 6"s shorter than the GP I owned. Again this is all just a personal thing and you would really have to try'em and decide for yourself. Good Luck!! Shawn

I have shot both I like the RER Arroyo. The bow is quite, smooth and fast. You will never deal with better people than Kevin & Sue at RER.

I'll toss in my vote for the Arroyo. Mine is a 58" 53@28 and really slings an arrow. It's a really quiet bow to boot with a super smooth draw. Like Dave said you Will Not find any better people to deal with than the TerMaat's.

Owned, shot both - still have the Arroyo.  Both are nice, but that Arroyo is something else, man.
